Senior Research Technician within the school of Biomedical Sciences, University of Nottingham. Main work interests are calcium imaging using ratiomeric methods in cells lines and primary neuronal cultures. Future plans are to use voltage sensitive dyes in combination with calcium sensitive dyes correlate the function of the two systems. I am interested in the utilisation of LED illumation as a replacement for xeon source of UV light
