Mechanical engineer & computer scientist. Developing Endrov, a new open source framework for image analysis, dealing with the demands of current and coming biological imaging. Has developed new microscopy methods to study c.elegans embryogenesis and gene expression patterns. Also interested in bioinformatics infrastructure and algorithms. Mainly works with Java but has worked a lot with C/C++ and likes new research languages like Haskell.
