An experienced microscopist, Jamie managed Lawrence Berkeley National Lab’s Subcellular Structure Group’s biophysical laboratory where he developed quantitative optical microscopy systems and software incorporating fluorescence imaged micro-deformation (FIMD) and electromagnetic force transduction (Magnetic Tweezers). Subsequently, Jamie managed microscope dealer sales relations and training, direct sales territories, and microscopy sales training program at Nikon Instruments. James received his M.S. and Ph.D in Biophysics from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and his undergraduate degree in Physics from Hamilton College.
